Ted Petersen

Ted Petersen has spent more than two decades building trusted relationships at the intersection of professional sports, luxury real estate, and high-level client service. As the Founder of The Agency's Athlete Advisory Group, Ted leads a specialized division dedicated to serving the unique real estate and lifestyle needs of professional athletes and coaches, executives, sports agents, financial advisors, and luxury property owners throughout Arizona.

Before joining The Agency, Ted founded SportStar Arizona, a boutique real estate and relocation company that became one of the Valley's premier resources for professional athletes and their families. His experience includes overseeing athlete transactions across North America, managing nationwide real estate teams, and creating seamless relocation strategies built on discretion, trust, and personalized service.

Ted's connection to the professional sports world began long before his real estate career. While working in New York's competitive advertising and publishing industries with nationally recognized brands including GQ and TALK Magazine, he later served as Advertising Director for NFL Properties, working from league headquarters and developing lasting relationships throughout the professional sports community.

After returning to Arizona as Publisher and Part Owner of Desert Living, formerly City AZ Magazine, Ted began exploring real estate investments before shifting his focus to the professional athlete market. In a relatively short time, he established himself as one of Arizona’s leading luxury real estate advisors for professional athletes and high-profile clientele. Leveraging an extensive network that includes professional sports organizations, financial advisors, sports agents, and industry executives, Ted delivers a level of expertise, access, and service that extends far beyond a traditional real estate transaction.
